Fishing Derby At Horseshoe Bend Marina And Full Moon Party – Saturday June 18, 2016

Come join the fun at our first of 3 fishing derbies and full moon parties at Horseshoe Bend Marina near Lovell, Wyoming.  Here are the rules below.  

Horseshoe Bend Marina Fishing Derby Rules for Saturday, June 18, 2016:

3 of the heaviest fish by weight, must be the following species which can be mixed and matched:  Sauger, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Trout – any kind, Ling, catfish.

Cost:    Kids (5-15)                                      $35.00*

           Individual                                         $50.00

           Team of no more than 3 persons:       $100.00

Teams only get one weigh in out of the fish they catch.

Payout:           1st Place – 30% of the total of all derby participants’ entry fees, after expenses

                      2nd Place – 20% of the total of all derby participants’ entry fees, after expenses

                      3rd Place – 10% of the total of all derby participants’ entry fees, after expenses

                      Kids class (5 – 15):  Largest Carp by weight $75.00

                      *Kids registration is for the Carp tournament only. 

Time:              6 a.m. start at Horseshoe Bend Marina.  Marina will serve breakfast that morning                          early.  It is not necessary to have a boat to participate in this tournament.                                      All participants must return to Horseshoe Bend.  Weigh in must be                                               complete by 4:15 p.m. at the fish cleaning station at   Horseshoe Bend.  Any                                 individual or team not checked in by this time will be eliminated.

Immediately following the weigh in, participants will be served dinner buffet style with the final results being posted in the covered pavilion by Horseshoe Bend.

20% of proceeds following payout will be donated to the Hyart Theater in Lovell, Wyoming for the re-roofing project.

Full Moon Party to follow with free concert on the beach featuring Doc Field’s Cyberdelic Voodoo.  The Marina will be open late.
