Capt’s class to be held in Post Falls, Idaho – April 27th – May 8th

For anyone who wishes to step up their game and professional credentials on the water. Successful applicants can take six paying passengers on guided fishing trips, boat tours or whatever on any navigable waters of the United States. Offered under the auspices of Zenith Maritme. U.S.C.G Approved Capt’s License training dates for spring 2015
Hi everyone, Wanted to let you know we have two different dates for OUPV (6 Pack) License Training dates coming to you this spring from Zenith Maritime – Western Region. The first is April 6 – 17 th with a Master’s Upgrade through the 20th in Helena, Montana. Cost is $1195 pp and $450 additional for the upgrade. Second class is in Post Falls, Idaho at North Idaho State College April 27 – May 8th. There is no upgrade option as this is a 6 Pack License training session only! Cost of business is higher there so the cost is $1295 pp. For info: email Capt. Mark at [email protected] or call 307-899-1401. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a seat in the upcoming classes. Attendance is limited to 24 persons per class.

USCG Approved Capt. Class Helena MT 10/6 – 10/17
Zenith Maritime – Western Region is holding a OUPV (6 Pack) Captain’s course in Helena MT October 6 – 17, 2014 at the Air National Guard Base by the Helena Airport. A Master’s upgrade is also available which would complete on the 20th of October. This license allows you to take 6 paying passengers for hire and is typically what is required for fishing guides. The Master’s upgrade is unlimited passengers but is limited to your sea time experience and tonnage rating by the CG. The schedule is Mon – Thurs 8 – 6 and following week Mon – Wed 8 – 6, Thurs. review and Friday test. The subjects covered are navigation and piloting, charting, rules of the road and deck general. Cost: $1195 pp (6 Pack); Masters upgrade $450. A $250 non-refundable deposit is due upon sign up….

The season is on and we are totally geared up for a great one. We are planning a few events this summer and would like some input on them. July 19th is Bighorn Lake days and there will be boat rides, specials in the Marina and all kinds of good fun. Come out and see what this area is all about and you’ll want to come back again. We plan on having special events for the sunset cruises on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6:30 p.m. and we plan on having a band out in the covered pavillion area this summer as well.
